A number of members have asked for a page on the website where photos, videos and anecdotes about Alan can be shared. This is it.

Dave Holliday on Alan
I gave the alto sax a cursory blow when I got home and it were a wee bit muted ; there were a pair of Alun`s underpants stuffed up the tube .
Norman Saxby on Alan
What can be said? Alan was "Mr Serpentine" He will be sadsly missed by everyone. The work he did on the club records ,films photos etc will preserve the history of the club for ever. He always liked to have a little 'dig' at the handicapper about his mark, usually to everyones amusement. the club owe it to Alan to do everything in their power to uphold the high standing and reputation the club has, largely thanks to the work he put in. Paulette and the family can be proud of the legacy Alan has left. May the "Serps" live on.
